Meraki Holiday Homes, a homestay for nature lovers and creative souls

I live in a house of cloud atop a floating hill;

You can come and visit me if your imagination wills.

Perched at a height of 5150 ft, in the serene hill town of Barog, Meraki Holiday Home, as the name suggests, is a labour of love and passion. Set amidst tall pine trees, this cottage provides the most stunning views of the historic Dagshai hills and the highest peak of Kasauli, the Monkey Point. When you want to run away from the city lights and delights to surrender yourself in the lap of nature this luxurious cottage is sure to provide fuel for your soul.

Influenced by the Scandinavian aesthetics of minimalism, this four-bedroom, three level property is tastefully designed to provide a cosy and comfortable stay to travellers.

Meraki Holiday Home is perfect for a large family, bunch of friends or a corporate group, or just the travellers who love to explore the less travelled terrains.

About the founder of Meraki Holiday Homes

A soft skills trainer by profession and a traveller by passion, Aarti believes in living life to the fullest. Smitten by the travel bug at an early age, she grew up with restless feet and an inability to stay still. From admiring nature for its endless beauty as a young traveller, her meanderings gradually turned into learnings and rich experiences. She truly believes that real travel is not simply about seeing things, but about seeing things with a fresh perspective. Being an avid traveller Aarti has also written for various travel magazines in the past.

Her professional journey of more than two decades never gave her as much pleasure as creating a little nook in the lap of nature for all those who savour the serenity of it and love to explore the unexplored.

Her Only Regret: She doesn’t have wings.
Her Desire: To have a full passport
Her Belief: “To Travel is to Live” – Hans Christian Andersen
